Cleanup has not gone as quickly as I had hoped. Largely in part to the difficulty in accessing the critical areas needed to be cleaned up in order for us to open the Golf Course. We're still waiting for 2 critical areas to be cleaned up before we can allow access to the golf course. Right now we are hoping to be open by Wednesday at noon.

The first is this large limb hanging between 3 green and 18 tee. Because it is in a parking area, and in play for errant shots to 3 green we're not comfortable allowing golfers on the course till it is removed. This will be the tree companies second job tomorrow, the spent the day cleaning up around 17 green and 11 tee today and got about half way done. Access to the golf course has been a problem, getting them close to where they need to work. In many cases so far they have not been able to get there chipper and truck right next to the debris and limbs and have had to walk the debris over to the chipper with there loader. this has caused significant delays in the process and taking them much longer than they planned.

The second critical area, which they were working on today, is all the large limbs and debris between 17 green and 11 tee. The limbs are blocking safe access through this area, you have to divert by 11 tee to get around this. We are having them work on this first because it is creating a major maintenance issue for us while were are continuing to work on the golf course. They should have this done tomorrow, provided that they can get back on the course. That brings up another issue, the rain we got today may delay them further in the cleanup because the course might be to wet for them in the morning for them to get on it with there bucket truck which would mean they couldn't take care of the hanging limb on 18. If that is the case they will be out here with a smaller chip truck to continue cleaning up debris. We will have to assess there access in the morning to make sure they can get on the course.

Like I mentioned, we are targeting getting the course opened Wednesday at noon, but be aware that there will be crews out here working during the week. We are estimating they will be on site for 3 full weeks. We appreciate your patience during this time, I know it is a frustrating situation and believe me, I'm frustrated as well, but at the end of all this we will have a much better golf course/
